Research
Undergraduate Research Symposium
April 9, 2012, marks the second annual School of Human Evolution and Social Change Undergraduate Research Symposium! All school undergraduates, as well as students in other majors related to anthropology, applied math or global health are invited to participate.
Undergraduate Research Assistantship
Every fall and spring semester, students can apply for a school research assistantship in which they have the opportunity to carry out their own research and get a stipend to help do so.
Research Apprenticeship Program
The School of Human Evolution and Social Change has many research projects with our world-renowned faculty. Students can apply to work with faculty on current research projects and have a chance to earn credit.
Global Internship/Practicum Program
Our program links undergraduate students to faculty research in international locations. Students receive individual attention while getting field training and experience. Learn more about the school's global internship/practicum program.
Study Abroad and Field Schools
There is no better experience than engaging with faculty and students in another place in the world (while earning college credit). The School of Human Evolution and Social Change takes over 100 students each year on eight different international programs to Africa, Europe, Asia and the South Pacific. - Career Services is a wonderful resource for careers and internships. Not only do they have a database of active positions, but they also organize career/internship fairs and have valuable workshops. In addition, they can point students looking for on-campus jobs in the right direction.

Other Opportunities
Lunch with the Director
Every month during the regular semester, anthropology, global health and applied math for the life and social sciences students have the opportunity to have an intimate lunch with one of the school’s directors. Find out more.
